BETHESDA: Publisher unveils online service Bethesda.net

Bethesda.net joins the ranks of EA Origin and uPlay as Bethesda attempts to unite its online presence.

The portal will help the company talk directly with its fans, and according to PR and marketing chief Pete Hines, ‘will be at the heart of everything Bethesda will do’.

The online network offers gamers access to new features, and will also power the recently announced Doom modding mode, Doom SnapMap. It will also become apart of The Elder Scrolls Online and feature new fan forums.

Little else was revealed about Bethesda.net at the firm’s E3 press conference – and for good reason, it is hardling barnstorming conference material – but expect it to be rolled out soon.
