Beyond the Summit tease first Overwatch event

Beyond the Summit, the predominantly Dota 2 focused casting studio, is working on an Overwatch tournament.

In a tweet last night the company released an image teasing an Overwatch Cup, along with its signature mountain logo. The tweet, which can be seen below, seems to be confirmation that the company will be holding an Overwatch event in the coming months, which will most likely be similar to The Summit, a Dota 2 event, and The Smash Summit, a Super Smash Bros. Melee event.

More information on the Overwatch Cup is expected soon, and with The Summit 5 taking place between July 13th and 17th, it would be a safe bet to expect an announcement there.

Of course Beyond the Summit is not the first major eSports organiser to enter the Overwatch scene as ESL will be hosting the first $100,000 Overwatch eventat Gamescom this year, which promises to be the biggest Overwatch event yet.
