that a significant update to its PlayStation Home service will go live this week – brining with it the intriguing

Red Bull Air Race island

The sponsored space will feature a number of branded Red Bull events, with the headline feature being a multiplayer Air Race game as per the firm’s tour of light aeroplane competitions. The company has pledged to expand the Red Bull Island over the next few months.

In addition, the existing mall outlets for Ligne Roset and Diesel will receive enhanced storefronts to increase their visibility to users. And an added bonus for Resident Evil fans comes in the shape of themed Degeneration t-shirts which users can place on their avatar.

SCEA also confirmed a new Killzone 2 pre-order promotion for North American gamers. Those purchasing the upcoming FPS through Amazon will receive a code that allows them to download both an ISA and Helgast costume for their virtual selves.
