Black Ops gets Limited Edition

Activision is to release a new Limited Edition version for Call of Duty: Black Ops.

The SKU was first outed by US retailer GameStop but has since been confirmed by the publisher on consumer blog Joystiq.

The game will retail for the same price as the current title but will include a code to download the first Black Ops DLC pack, First Strike, for free.

It will be released in North America on June 28th meaning a possible UK arrival on July 1st.

Since the release of FIrst Strike two further DLC packs have been released – Escalation and Annihilation, though the latter has yet to hit PC or PS3.
