Blizzard Entertainment skips E3 2012

World of Warcraft developer-publisher Blizzard will not have a floor presence at this year’s E3, a company rep has told MCV.

This makes it’s the fifth consecutive year the company has bypassed the annual games trade show in Los Angeles.

Additionally, Blizzard will not be holding one of its own BlizzCon events this year.

This means that gamers will have to wait for further news on Blizzard’s next MMO Project Titan or the upcoming StarCraft II expansions. These include Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void.

However, the company will have a show presence at Gamescom 2012 in August.

E3 2012 takes place from June 5th to June 7th at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
