Bloodborne Game of the Year Edition announced

Sony has revealed that a Game of the Year edition of From Software’s Bloodborne will be released on PS4 before Christmas.

The SKU will include the game’s upcoming DLC, The Old Hunters, which will explore the nightmare of the hunters who once guarded Byrgenwerth. It’s set in what is described as a nightmare world where hunters from the past are trapped forever”.

As well as the new levels, The Old Hunters will also offer new weapons (including Simon’s Bowblade), outfits and magic that can be added to their arsenal. New lore will also shed more insight on the game world. There will also be a new boss in the form of Ludwig.

The DLC was previously given a release date of November 24th. The GOTY version of the game is due out a day later on November 25th.

Sony hasn’t confirmed whether the DLC will be included on the disc or offered via a download code.
