Boxed release planned for Pokemon Rumble World

Nintendo’s free-to-play 3DS outing Pokmon Rumble World is to receive a microtransaction-free digital release.

The boxed version, which will be released on January 22nd, will have all of the original’s in-app purchases removed. Instead, players will start with a large reserve of the in-game currency Pok Diamonds. More will then be dished out each day.

In the current digital 3DS version users can buy the currency in various bundles priced from 69p all the way up to 15.

The game itself was announced and released back in April. It is Nintendo’s second F2P Pokemon outing.
