Buahin back at Sony

Popular Rosemary Buahin has returned to Sony Computer Entertainment UK as head of trade marketing.

She rejoins after a three-year term at Warner Bros. Interactive. Previously, she was trade marketing manager at Sony for four and a half years.

She now reports directly to Alan Duncan, SCE UK marketing director.Duncan told MCV: We are really delighted to welcome Rose back into the fold at this key time for Sony Computer Entertainment.We have created this senior role to prioritise our marketing partnerships with our key trade partners.

The appointment helps us to maximise opportunities for retail as we look to grow the business significantly over the next 12 months.”

Prior to her Sony Computer Entertainment UK and WBIE roles, Buahin worked at Eidos, Novalogic and Acclaim.At Warner Bros she was responsible for the trade strategy and retail execution, with work including recent hits Batman: Arkham City, LEGO Harry Potter and Mortal Kombat.

Buahin added: This is a great time to be joining PlayStation UK, with the Vita launch fast approaching and so much planned for the coming year.”
