Call of Duty: Ghosts confirmed

Activision has finally confirmed the existence of Call of Duty: Ghosts.

The game was outed by retailer Tesco last week after a listing (presumably accidentally?) went live on its website. The quality of the included pack shots left little doubt that the game was genuine.

All we have for the time being, though, is this Facebook page and a bit of art, which can be seen below. Which leaves us to speculate.

Therefore we can confirm that COD: Ghosts will see players assume the role of an abandoned kitten called Bernard who uses a Magic Kamera (that’s ‘camera’ with the ‘c’ replaced by a ‘k’ because you spell kitten with a ‘k’) to capture pictures of the ghosts of animals that have previously won the Dickin Medal.

Or not. We’ll see.

It is believed that Ghosts will, for the first time since the series underwent its modern transformation, be built on a brand new game engine. Or more specifically a next-generation game engine”.
