Call of Duty: Ghosts IS getting a Wii U release

Despite not once naming the format in any of its press releases or marketing materials, Activision now says Call of Duty: Ghosts is getting a release on Wii U.

The revelation comes via Ghosts producer Mark Rubin in a video interview with GameSpot, as spotted by Kotaku.

"We’re not actually talking about the Wii U yet because we want to keep it mysterious,” he claimed. That’s PR guys, that’s not my fault."

It remains to be seen whether the Wii U SKU will be timed to launch with the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC release on November 5th or at a later date alongside the Xbox One and PS4 versions. Or later than all of them. Or perhaps before.

That’s PR guys.
