Chennai Express: Escape from Rameshwaram out now

Chennai Express: Escape from Rameshwaram, the official mobile game for the upcoming Shahrukh Khan film, is out now.

Developed by the digital arm of Disney UTV, the endless runner is available now for Android devices and feature phones, with an iOS version scheduled for release closer to the film’s 9th August release date.

The Chennai Express game captures the theme, the graphics and the mood of the movie brilliantly. I am glad we have brought to the table that people will find engrossing and easy to be a part of. I had a lot of fun being part of the process of making this game. Hopefully avid gamers will find this one as much fun as I did,” Khan said at the game’s launch today.

In the game, players will control Rahul, Khan’s character in the film, and fight their way through an army of thugs from Chennai while dodging obstacles like trucks, buses, cars, coconut carts, manholes and more.”

Collecting more than 10,000 coins in a single game session will reward players with a special in-game avatar of co-star Deepika Padukone’s character from the film.
