Civilization Revolution 2 Plus suffers another last-minute Vita delay

2K Games has for the second time delayed the PlayStation Vita version of Civilization Revolution 2 Plus.

The game was originally due out on December 3rd, with the delay announced only one day beforehand.

The revised release date was tomorrow, January 26th. Sadly that’s not going to happen either, and this time a revised release date has not been offered.

Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution 2 Plus for PlayStation Vita is now launching in North America and Europe later this year,” 2K Games has said. The team is hard at work making sure the title lives up to fans’ expectations, and we appreciate your continued patience as we take the time needed to prepare the title for global release in 2016.”

Adding to the frustrations of strategy fans is the fact that the game did hit Asian markets on December 3rd, complete with English language support.

Civilization Revolution 2 was first released on iOS way back in July 2014. It then arrived on Android the following September. Its predecessor, which debuted as a console title in 2008, never made the jump to handheld consoles, although it was released on smartphones.
