CoD: Black Ops targets Wii

There will indeed be a Wii version of Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops, publisher Activision has confirmed.

In a brief statement released to Eurogamer, the company simply stated: Black Ops will be available on all four platforms, PS3, X360, PC and Wii, on 9th November.”

Until this point Activision hadn’t confirmed formats for the game and whether it would make it beyond the usual PS3-36-PC trio was anyone’s guess.

Treyarch’s entries in the Call of Duty series have traditionally made the move to Nintendo’s machine, though it took Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare quite some time to make the trip. Modern Warfare 2 has not yet made the same transition.
