Vancouver-based team is apparently at the helm of undead sequel

Blue Castle working on Dead Rising 2?

Talk of zombie sequel Dead Rising 2 being outsourced out to a Western developer has been doing the rounds for quite some time, and now it seems that confirmation of the rumour has finally arrived.

Eurogamer reports that it has elicited an off-the-record admission from a member of Vancouver-based developer Blue Castle Games, who stated: “Everyone’s really excited. The team has obviously seen the rumours and it’s been hard to keep quiet, but they can’t wait to show off the game.”

Blue Castle’s previous projects include baseball pair The Bigs and Major League Baseball Front Office Manager.

There’s so far been no word on either the release date or platforms for Dead Rising 2.
