Creat Studios focusing on digital downloads

Creat Studios, the team behind PSP shooter Coded Arms: Contagion and the recent Aqua Teen Hunger Force Zombie Ninja Pro-Am, has been officially crowned as a PlayStation Network publisher and confirmed that it is looking to bring both its own titles and those of other studios to the PS3 network next year.

also reports that the company is looking to move into both Xbox Live Arcade and WiiWare publishing at some stage further down the line.

Digital distribution is a key component in our strategy of becoming a global leader in creating and providing interactive entertainment,” CEO Vladimir Starzhevsky stated.

Director of business development Matt Sughrue added: Our longer range plans would be to develop content for XBLA and Wiiware as well. We’ve developed many games for Sony platforms, and we have a good working relationship with SCEA and SCEE, so starting our publishing initiative with PlayStation Network was a natural step for us in the short term.”
