Dead Rising to bite PS3 next?

Its popularity on Xbox 360 was great enough to make its recently

confirmed move to Wii

a reality, but now developer Capcom has hinted that Dead Rising may also be upping sticks and heading over to Sony’s PS3.

Speaking on the US PlayStation blog, Capcom’s John Diamonon responded to a question about his firm’s commitment to Sony’s console and the possibility of a port with the short but possibly telling you haven’t seen the last of Dead Rising”.

Of course, this might be in reference to the in-the-works sequel, which has already been touted as a multi-format title.

Dead Rising was a huge hit upon its release on Xbox 360 in August 2006, selling over one million copies before the turn of the year. Capcom still officially says that no sequel to the title is currently in production.
