Dead Space release date moves again

Just last week EA announced that the release of its brand new sci-fi survival horror IP Dead Space

had been moved forward a week

from the

initially touted Halloween

to October 24th – but seemingly that’s simply not soon enough.

The publisher has now stated that the US release has been brought forward to October 14th – and though there’s been no confirmation as of yet, don’t be surprised to see Europe follow suit with a date of October 17th.

The release of the PC version still lags a week behind the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, with the US release now currently pencilled in for October 20th.

Though at this rate don’t be surprised to see it on the shelves by this lunchtime.

The news follows reports that several global territories – namely the typically strict Germany, as well as Japan and China – have banned the game.
