Disney unveils Toy Story play set for Disney Infinity

A third play set expansion for Disney Infinity has been announced and it’s based on cult movie IP Toy Story.

The SKU includes Buzz Lightyear and Jessie figures, while Woody is to be made available as one of a range of lone figure releases that also includes Wreck-It Ralph and co-star Vanellope, the Mickey Mouse Sorcerer’s Apprentice from Fantasia, Rapuzel, Phineas and Agent P from Phineas and Ferb, Frozen’s Anna and Elsa the Jack Skellington from The Mightmare Before Christmas.

Each of these purchases will unlock the associated character in Infinity’s Toy Box mode.

Disney’s price structure for Infinity sees the initial Starter Pack, including The Incredibles, Pirates of the Caribbean and Monsters University play sets, retail for $75. Three figures are included – Jack Sparrow, Sully and Mr Incredible.

Three additional play sets have been announced that will cost $35 each. These are Cars, The Lone Ranger and now Toy Story. The first two will be available at launch on August 23rd while the Toy Story set won’t arrive until October.
