European release date confirmed for Yoshi’s New Island

Nintendo has confirmed the launch details for 3DS title Yoshi’s New Island on 3DS.

The game will arrive in this neck of the woods on the same day it hits North America – March 14th. It will be released simultaneously both at retail and on the Nintendo eShop as a digital download.

The game is being produced by the man behind its SNES predecessor Yoshi’s Island, Takashi Tezuka.

Yoshi’s New Island stays true to its visual style (and introduces several new styles in the new process) while introducing new features that make use of the host platform’s capabilities such as 3D visuals and motion-control.
