Garland and Serkis sign up for Enslaved

In a move likely to challenge the view that games are oblivious to the power of considered narrative, UK developer Ninja Theory has tapped up acclaimed writing talent for new game Enslaved.

Enslaved is the follow-up to PS3 title Heavenly Sword. It is a post-apocalyptic action-adventure title, according to the studio, with a narrative crafted by Alex Garland, author of The Tesseract, The Beach, and a self-confessed game addict.

The game will also be enriched with with the versatile talents of prized actor/director/Gollum Andy Serkis, who will direct the game as well as portray the lead character of Monkey.
