PS3 gamers have since launch been able to download the Gran Turismo 5 HD demo from Sony’s PSN, but ahead of the release of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue in Japan next month
that the HD demo will be removed from the online Japanese store forever this weekend.
Gran Turismo 5 HD offers a range of cars and the ability to upload lap times to global leaderboards.
Eurogamer reports that there have currently been no announcements from Sony Europe regarding the future of the demo here. And with no official European release date for GT5 Prologue yet announced, the demo is presumably safe for now.
The full game is expected to be released lagter next year.
