Hyrule Warriors ships 1m units worldwide

Hyrule Warriors has shipped a million copies internationally since its launch last year, publisher Koei Tecmo has announced.

A Koei Tecmo Europe representative confirmed the milestone to Joystiq, and the company is celebrating by releasing a batch of desktop wallpapers based on the fighting mash-up.

Hyrule Warriors originally launched last August in Japan, and arrived in Australian, Europe and North America the following month.

The game’s Majora’s Mask DLC pack is due out February 5th on the Wii U eShop.
