Accessories firm Impact Global Solutions will launch a new range of ‘Mini’ Wii products designed especially for the younger gamer.
The collection includes a Mini Wii Remote, Mini Nunchuk, sports set, racing wheel, light sword and a child-sized Balance Board. The products will be packaged under IGS’ casual peripherals brand Game On at retail.
IGS says it is the first company to get a miniature accessories range to market.
Divisional sales director Chris Malone told MCV: We are proud to announce the launch of the new Mini series – a range of fully compatible miniature game controllers and accessories for Wii.
The reaction at E3 was amazing – everybody thought the Mini series was so cute.”
IGS is providing retail with a full range of POS materials and expects an increase in sales leading up to the peak Christmas period in Q4. A marketing campaign is already underway with advertisements appearing in specialist gaming publications. The Mini Wii accessories collection will launch in July.
