INFOGRAPHIC: Some very large Call of Duty numbers

Activision has just sent out an infographic detailing a history of the Call of Duty series’ multiplayer mode.

It says that a total of 100m people have played Call of Duty – which, as it handily points out is more than the populations of EU nations such as the UK, Germany, France or Italy.

Between them those lot have fired 32.3 quadrillion shots. That’s 32,300,000,000,000,000.

In addition over five billion cars have been destroyed in-game which is apparently the same as the total amount of registered vehicle in the world.

A total of 25 billion hours have been played, equalling 2.85 million years.
