MGS sneaking onto PSN

One of the 32bit era’s most celebrated classics is to make its debut on the PlayStation Network later this week with news that Konami’s Metal Gear Solid is to make a long-awaited console return.

Priced at 7.99, the download will go live on PSN this Thursday (November 19th).

It’s not the first time that MGS has been resuscitated for a new generation – though it struggled at retail, Silicon Knights’ visually luscious remake for GameCube, dubbed MGS: Twin Snakes, was a huge hit amongst fans of the series.

Furthermore, three more MGS titles will be heading to PSN in the coming weeks – Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, MGS: Portable Ops+ and MGS: Digital Graphic Novel.
