Lionhead shifts to action genre

Molyneux reveals Kinect-based Fable project

One of Lionhead’s next two Fable projects has been revealed by studio co-founder Peter Molyneux.

Taking stage at E3, Molyneux claimed that Fable: The Journey “represents the next leap forward” in the series.

The game is played entirely through Kinect and footage showed a refocus on action with on-rails shooting and Kinect-based interaction

Fable: The Journey is set for 2012.

Lionhead’s second project has not been announced yet.
