Motorstorm gets new UK date

PS3 racing title Motorstorm: Apocalypse will be released in the UK on Thursday March 31st, MCV can reveal.

It had initially been pencilled in for an arrival on Friday March 18th, but this was postponed following the devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan the week before.

Apocalypse is set in an earthquake-ravaged fictional US city that crumbles around the player as they race.

"Although we have shipped the game into the channel last week, given that we are able to do so, we have chosen to postpone the launch in the UK," an SCE UK spokesperson told MCV at the time.

"In the meantime we will continue to monitor the situation very closely."
