Murdered: Souls Suspect confirmed for Xbox One and PS4

Square Enix has said that supernatural thriller Murdered: Soul Suspect will be released on both Xbox One and PS4 alongside current-gen (last-gen?) machines.

The game, developed by Quantum Conundrum developer Airtight Games, was recently confirmed by Microsoft for Xbox One but is now nailed on for a release on Sony’s machine, too.

Both versions will output in 1080p (with no word on framerate) and feature visual effects not found in the Xbox 360 and PS3 SKUs such as subsurface scattering and an increased particle count.

The game sees players in control of a recently deceased detective who can employ all manner of ghostly techniques like walking through walls and probably shouting boo”.

Murdered: Soul Suspects will be released on all formats – including PC – in June.
