World of Tanks storms Xbox 360 next week

Wargaming has finally nailed down a release date for free-to-play title War of Tanks on Xbox 360.

The game will be made available for download on Xbox Live on Wednesday February 12th.

Note however that unlike F2P titles such as DC Universe Online on PS4, those wishing to play will have to be paying members of Xbox Live Gold. Those without Gold can participate in the seven day trial, however.

It October 2012 Wargaming revealed that the game on PC had surpassed 40m registered players worldwide. By December of last year that had risen to 75m registered players with a peak of 1m concurrent users.

The Xbox 360 Edition was revealed at E3 last year.
