Namco reveals ExerBeat for Wii

ExerBeat has been announced by Namco Bandai which focuses on lots of fun activities rather than few heavy workouts.

The upcoming Wii fitness game features 150 exercises including dances, martial arts, body conditioning and mini-games. It is due for release this spring.

Players will also be able to use the Wii Balance Board and MotionPlus Remotes while playing ExerBeat. Up to two gamers will be able to play together, or one person can wield two Wii Remotes at the same time.

An in-game personal trainer provides customised workouts as well as daily and weekly challenges.

There is also an ‘Around the World’ mode where players will be able to see their Mii character stop at almost 100 international landmarks the more they workout. At each location, new exercises, modes and cultural facts are unlocked.
