A new UPC is needed for any new hardware offering to hit the shelves. No details of the possible new SKU are known, though the likely options are either a new colour for the console, a new bundled game or an alternative bundle including the upcoming Wii Zapper or Wii Fit peripherals.

Other more colourful suggestions include a new console that also offers DVD playback.
