Business Week has crowned Nintendo as the greatest company on Earth today in an annual poll.
The platform holder finished ahead of Google and Apple in the table, which measures factors including sales growth rate and rises of market capitalisation.
The business weekly says the table reflects: ‘commitment to innovation, diversified portfolios, aggressive expansion, strong leadership, and a clear vision for the future’.
Nintendo last month announced a ‘price cut’ for Wii, which saw the console’s UK trade RRP drop to 179.99. The system will now be bundled with Wii Motion Plus, Wii Sports Resort and Wii Sports as standard.
