NINTENDO: Now DSi gets in on the Facebook party

Nintendo’s Cammie Dunaway has confirmed that a future software update for the DSi will allow the machine to upload photos taken with the built-in camera to social networking site Facebook.

Little else in the way of information was offered, though the news follows a similar move from Microsoft at its conference yesterday.

Will Sony complete the set by doing the same later tonight?

The announcement compliments other details given at the E3 show regarding enhanced multimedia features for the handheld, with a video editing suite said to be on the way to DSi. Such announcements are really helping to distinguish the DSi from its predecessor the DS Lite.
