Nintendo reveals DSi LL

Nintendo has unveiled a new iteration of the DSi.

The DSi LL boasts an extra large 4.2-inch screen, which is 93 per cent bigger than the DS Lite’s screen size. It is set to hit Japanese shelves on November 21st and is priced at 20,000 yen ($220).

There is currently no word on a European or US release.

The console was rumoured earlier in the week, and will be targeted at users that wants to surf the internet, use the console as a music device or play reading-intensive software, with the larger screen able to show bigger characters.

The DSi LL comes with two touch pens, including a new extra large design, as well as three pre-installed DSiWare titles. The games include DS Easy Dictionary, and two Brain Training titles.

The machine will be available in Dark Brown, Wine Red and Natural White.
