NINTENDO: Wii Fit Plus confirmed

Nintendo has announced Wii Fit Plus.

The game was unveiled during the firm’s pre-E3 press conference, and is scheduled to hit shelves towards the end of the year.

The game boasts new personalised options, extra modes and will be available as both a single SKU and bundled with the balance board.

Some analysts have stopped looking at the balance board as an accessory, and is looking at it as a platform," said Nintendo’s marketing boss Cammie Dunaway.

"That’s because, with 15 million units sold, it ranks up there with many platforms.”
