NINTENDO: Yoshi’s Woolly World confirmed for Wii U

Yoshi’s Woolly World is on the way to Wii U.

The game promises a friendlier, more accessible experience than that offered by Mario’s platformers.

Visually it draws on the theme of yarn and wool, giving everything a very soft and texture rich look.

The platform holder says players will be free to explore the game world without time limits” and that challenges can be tackled in a fun variety of ways”.

Whereas Mario is limited by a maximum jump distance, for instance, Yoshi can apparently jump as far as he wants if we really wants to”.

Indeed, Nintendo wants the gamer to bring a smile to your face just by owning it”.

It’s due out in 2015.
