Now ESRB rates Crysis for consoles

It looks like 2007 PC hit Crysis could be coming to PS3 as well as Xbox 360.

Last week a rating from Korean games regulators suggested that the game was to be released on consoles for the first time – a claim supposedly backed up by EA Korea.

Now a new rating from US regulator ESRB also points to a console outing for the title, and this time PS3 is named alongside Xbox 360. Presumably the title would use the Crytek 3 engine debuted with this year’s Crysis 2.

Neither publisher EA or developer Crytek have officially commented on the rumours.
