Project Guard gets a Star Fox makeover and is out next month

Shigeru Miyamoto’s Wii U game Project Guard will launch next month, only with a new name.

Star Fox Guard is a co-operative security guard sim. One player controls a gun using the Wii U gamepad, while everyone else looks at the TV screen that shows multiple security camera screens. The friends are tasked with telling the other player where to shoot.

The game’s story involves Star Fox character Slippy Toad trying to help out his uncle Grippy.

It will launch April 22nd on the eShop, or as part of a bundle with Miyamoto’s other upcoming Wii U game, Starfox Zero.

There’s no word on Miyamoto’s other Wii U title: Project Giant Robot.
