PSN Import Section now open for business

Sony has officially launched its brand new Import Section on the PlayStation Network.

It will use the portal to release titles that we never originally published in Europe, starting with RPG Arc the Lad, shooter Cho Aniki and Arcade Hits: Sonic Wings Special.

All three games retain their original form as per their Japanese releases, with guides available online for those who struggle to navigate them.

There’s lots of potential for Sony in this field, though the releases it offers will have to prove more ambitious than these debut offerings. The PS2 era, in particular, would prove a rich source of new titles should Sony choose to pillage it.
