Austin-based studio working with Vince Zampella's team to port next-gen blockbuster

Respawn drafts Bluepoint Games for Xbox 360 Titanfall

Respawn is not developing the Xbox 360 version of its upcoming Microsoft exclusive Titanfall.

Instead, it has passed this duty over to Austin-based developer Bluepoint Games. Bluepoint’s role was confirmed on Twitter by Respawn founder and Call of Duty co-creator Vince Zampella.

Interestingly, Bluepoint is actually better known for its work on PlayStation platforms, having developed God of War Collection, The Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection and the Vita version of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. It also contributed to the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

Titanfall is Respawn’s first release, and is exclusive to Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. It is due for release on March 14th.
