The UK DS charts have finally seen a change at the top as this week’s new release Rooms: The Main Building takes No.1.
The top spot has alternated between Pokmon HeartGold and SoulSilver since the two games were released at the end of March, making this the first new DS No.1 in just over two months.
The puzzler pushed SoulSilver down to second place, which in turn knocked New Super Mario Bros down to fourth. HeartGold is a non-mover in third place, as is Mario Kart DS in fifth.
In the GfK Chart-Track All Formats Top 40, Rooms debuted in a respectable 12th place. It was the highest placing DS-only game of the week, fifteen places above Pokmon SoulSilver in 27th place.
