Splatoon Wii U bundle confirmed for Europe

Nintendo has confirmed that there will be a Splatoon and Wii U hardware bundle in the PAL regions.

The platform holder announced this on Twitter yesterday, and said that the bundle would be launching on June 19th.

This is three weeks after Splatoon’s launch in the Wii U.

In Australia and New Zealand, the bundle launches on May 30th and will set consumers back AU$395.95.This folows the news yesterday thatNorth America will be getting a Splatoon Wii U bundle.

The bundle comes with the black 32GB model of the Wii U – and it seems that the PAL bundle will feature a boxed copy of the game, rather than a download code like in North America.

Splatoon was revealed during the E3 Nintendo Direct last year. Nintendo’s new shooter will be in stores, exclusively for Wii U, on May 29th.
