Super Mario and Pikmin 3 confirmed for E3

A new Super Mario game and Pikmin 3 for Wii U will make their debuts at E3, Nintendo has officially announced.

News of the new games broke yesterday in a Spanish language interview with Nintendo’s development boss Shigeru Miyamoto.

In a recent interview, Mr. Miyamoto confirmed that a new Pikmin game and a new Super Mario Bros. game for the Wii U system will be shown at the E3 Expo in June,” a statement from the company explained.

Miyamoto is also working on Luigi’s Mansion 2, though we’re yet to find out when we’ll have more information on that game.

E3 will also bring with it our first look at Nintendo’s revised Wii U console, and most probably a launch date and even a price.

Expect Wii U to land in most major markets by the end of the year.
