Tony Hawks Motion skates into view

With no full home console version of Tony Hawk’s on the cards this year, extreme sports fans will be delighted with the news that the popular franchise will be returning soon – with a new motion-sensitive outing on Nintendo DS.

Curiously, the game will also come bundled with a second software title – Hue Pixel Painter. Both titles will make use of an included accelerometer accessory. Another first for the series is the appearance of snowboarding, with levels set in luxurious locales such as Tokyo, Dubai and the Alps.

Also of note is the developer of the title – not the series’ creator Neversoft, but instead Creat Studios.

Tony Hawk’s Motion is due to be released in November.
