Nintendo’s Wii Sports Club will add golf to its roster at some point today, the firm has announced.
The news came via the info bonanza that was today’s Nintendo Direct conference, with the company specifically stating the game will begin distributing online later in the day.
The new addition to the Wii U title includes both the original nine-hole course from previous Wii Sports games, as well as courses based on Nintendo’s NES Golf title launched 25 years ago.
Wii U hardware with the automatic software downloads feature on will grab the content as soon as it becomes available. Here’s the trailer for it:
