Wii SNES pad arrives to UK

Keen Nintendo enthusiasts will be pleased with the latest addition to the UK arm of the Club Nintendo store – a Wii compatible version of the SNES joypad.

A variant on the already available Classic Controller, the peripheral first made an appearance on the Japanese version of the Club Nintendo store three years ago.

It has already become quite a collector’s item and at times can be purchased outright on some import sites for anything up to $100.

Club Nintendo specials have a habit of not sticking around for long, so those with 7000 Star Points (which come bundled with Nintendo hardware and software releases) or more should head over to the site now.
