Wii U discounting continues – Premium now available for £244.97

Retail has dropped Nintendo’s Wii U to an all-time low in an effort to inject some momentum into the console.

GameStop.co.uk is offering the Premium 32GB version for just 244.97 for this weekend only. That’s a price drop of 55.

The news comes after Amazon yesterday slashed the price of the Premium console to 249 and the Basic to 199, mirroring similar price drops at Asda earlier this month.

There is no evidence yet that these promotions have had a positive impact on the system’s UK sales, which continue to struggle.
