Xbox One gameplay YouTube uploads coming today

The ability to upload gameplay clips to YouTube will be patched into the console today, Microsoft has confirmed.

It comes as part of an update to the YouTube app. Users will need to adjust their system settings as detailed on the Xbox Wire to get everything up and running.

The update will also allow for the use of the YouTube app in Snap mode.

Last week it was revealed that there were 108,000 unique Twitch broadcasts from Xbox One in the week after the streaming tech was patched onto the machine.

On March 11th specifically, which was the first day Twitch was available on Xbox One, 30 per cent of the service’s broadcasts were made from Microsoft’s machine. The 108k week one total represented 22 per cent of all Twitch broadcasts in the period.
