Crysis 2, Rage dated

Release dates have been announced for what could be two of 2011’s biggest titles – Crysis 2 and Rage.

EA has announced that Crytek’s technically impressive console FPS Crysis 2, which was recently delayed from its autumn 2010 release window, will now be released in Europe on March 25th.

It will be released slightly earlier on March 22nd in the US.

In addition, publisher Bethesda has confirmed a distant but still hopefully concrete UK release date for its open-world FPS Rage – September 16th.

An early iPhone tech demo of the game impressed onlookers at Quakecon last week. It has since been shown running at 60fps on Xbox 360 and PS3 – a good early indicator of the quality included in id’s Tech 5 Engine.
