Curve Digital co-owner forms new studio Onebitbeyond

Curve Digital’s co-owner and design director Jonathan Biddle has left the indie publisher to open up his own development studio.

Biddle departs after ten years with Curve, heading up efforts on titles including Stealth Inc, Stealth Inc 2 and Fluidity.

"I’m so intensely proud of the work I’ve done as part of the incredible team at Curve over the past ten years, and I’m hoping to continue creating games as fresh and exciting as those Curve made with my own studio for years to come,” Biddle said.

His new company Onebitbeyond is actively developing roguelike shooter White Space. The game and the studio’s subsequent titles will be published by Curve.

"Having seen the intimate inner workings of Curve Digital’s publishing as it has grown, I couldn’t imagine trusting anyone more with publishing my future titles. I’m looking forward to many more years of working with Curve as Onebitbeyond."

Last month, Curve announced industry veteran Simon Byron’s appointment with the firmas its new publishing director.
